Research Facilities at Lake Hazen

Along the northwestern shoreline of Lake Hazen sits the Parks Canada-managed Lake Hazen station.

​The station includes several semi-permanent structures, including the Lake Hazen/Quttinirpaaq Field Laboratory (LHQFL). The LHQFL includes a clean room for chemical and biological sample processing and a general staging area for field research equipment.
